Intellectual thinking vs. Emotional thinking

Decision making occurs in every persons life whether it is conflicting or helpful. People have to make their own decisions based on how they interpret things. Situations or problems are better being solved using intellectual thinking rather than emotional thinking. Basing things off of intellect gives a person better results because they are using logic to solve their problems. Intellectual thinking allows a person to think of cause and effect during their current situation. It allows a person to think it through and all the things that can possibly go right or wrong. Thinking intellectually gives more logic and clear thoughts based on fact needed in order to solve a problem of any sort. Basing decisions off of emotions can lead to a wrong decision or a negative outcome. Many people let their emotions get the best of the when it comes to making a decision and the outcome is not what they expect. People allow their feelings to get in the way of what is right and blind them from the truth. Some people can therefore can not determine right from wrong or good from bad because their emotions are over powering their intellectual thinking.
